▪ About Fees
Camping Day Pass:
$50 per day per site from 17 December 2026 to 16 January 2027.
$35 per day per site in all other dates in a year (*Includes unlimited boat ramp use, boat/trailer parking, and car parking).
Prices are based on up to 2 adults and all dependent children under 15 years old. Additional adults or children from 15 years old $10 per person per day.
Check-in is from 12:00 pm. Check-out is by 12:00 pm on the day after the last paid day.
Boat Ramp Day Pass:
$12/day.
Car Day Pass:
$6 per calendar day (0:00am to 11:59pm) per car. Caravans or campervans must purchase camping passes.
Camping Half Season Pass:
$700 per season per site (*Includes unlimited boat ramp use, boat/trailer parking, and car parking).
Valid from 16 January to 30 May 2027 for up to 2 adults and all depended children under 15 years old. Additional adults or children from 15 years old $10 per person per day.
Camping Season Pass:
$1100 per season per site (*Includes unlimited boat ramp use, boat/trailer parking, and car parking).
Valid from 19 September 2026 to 30 May 2027 for up to 2 adults and all dependent children under 15 years old. Additional adults or children $10 per person per day.
Boat Ramp Season Pass:
$120 per boat including parking for 1 car and 1 trailer.
Valid from 19 September 2026 to 17 September 2027.
Dumping Fee:
$5 per dump at the designated dumping station (on the ground by the toilet block).
All prices include GST. Prices are subject to annual reviews.
▪ Payment Methods
We prefer direct bank transfers prior to occupying to the following bank account:

To people who prefer not using a bank transfer, we take Visa and MasterCard payments with a 2.5% surcharge. Cash payments are also accepted by depositing money in the envelops provided at the booth by boat ramp.

▪ Booking
Booking is not essential unless you want to secure a lakefront site. There are over 100 sites for casual campers.
For lake front sites, please email info@lakebenmore.nz for availability.
▪ Availability
If the casual camping sites are close to full, a notice will be posted here to ask you to make a phone call or email enquiry first. Otherwise, feel free to turn up and grab a good site.
